How reliable is Zulu transcription?
Yes: it is supported by our main engine, with speaker labels. Clear audio gives the best results.
What if Zulu is mixed with English?
That works: pick the language spoken most in the recording. Passages in another language may be less accurate.
Are speakers separated?
Yes, each person is detected automatically and you can rename the speakers.
Is it free?
Yes: 3 files per day (up to 30 minutes each) are free, no credit card needed. Pro removes these limits.
Do I need an account?
Yes, a free account, no credit card needed. On this page your email is enough to start: you receive a confirmation link and the transcription starts automatically. To sign in again later, set a password with the “Reset your password?” link on the sign-in page.
Do my files stay private?
Yes. Your files are only visible to you, stored in Europe (Germany), and you can delete them at any time. Transcription is processed, only for the time needed, by our providers in the United States.
